PROJECTS
These are all the projects that I've worked on over the years as a Programmer (both Student Projects and Professional Projects). There are also a few personal Projects. I've been enjoying working as a Gameplay Programmer for the past 3 years at DONTNOD Entertainment, and you can check the games I've worked on with them as well!
Professional Project
Gameplay and AI Programmer on Dune: Spice Wars - Shiro Games
Worked from early production close to full 1.0 release. I have had the chance to be the owner of the AI System within the game. Created it from scratch as a single programmer with the help of a Game Designer. I also had the chance to work on a lot of the game system and the code's overall architecture.
Gameplay Programmer on Tell Me Why - DONTNOD Entertainment
Starting in Pre Production, I worked on this Narrative Game as a Gameplay Programmer. I was in charge of some core systems such as the Camera and some of the UI elements. I also created tools for designers and worked alongside colleagues on other gameplay systems.
UI Programmer on Vampyr - DONTNOD Entertainment
As part of my partnership contract for DONTNOD Entertainment, I had the chance to work on many parts of the UI in Vampyr. I had to implement lots of gameplay element into a flexible and efficient UI. This was a long-term mission and I learned a lot from it!
ZWCAD Plug-In
I had to create a Plug-In for the AutoCAD Clone called ZWCAD. The point of this was to export data to file formats that enabled 3D Printing and 3D Editting in dedicated softwares such as SketchUp. This was a project I did during an internship to conclude my 2-year technical degree in programming.
School Projects
Original Physics Based + Virtual Reality Game
This is the first big project of my third year as a Game Programmer at ISART Digital. We had mandatory pitches and had to start working with them in medium sized groups. We decided to take on a new challenge: Virtual Reality. The results please us and we are having fun playing it !
Game Engine & Dedicated Game Editor
This project is the biggest we've had the chance to work on so far. It features a wide variety of technical skills as well as general knowledge and R&D. We were a big group going as big as 20 for this project, and it was our second year's final project in Game Programming at ISART Digital Paris.
Skyrim replica using Unity
This was the end of semester project to conclude our Unity learning. We were in groups of 2 programmers to create a small playable replica of the popular Open World RPG The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim. We also worked with the Music and Sound Designers from the school to add some sound effects and musics.
OpenTTD
End of 1st Year Project. It is a mockup of a Management game called OpenTTD. Build your transportation company, watch it grow and prosper while expanding your assets. This was done in groups of 6 and we started with nothing.
Incredible Machine
One of the biggest project from my 1st year at ISART Digital. We created a mockup of the popular game released in 1993 by Dynamix, The Incredible Machine. We were in groups of 7 and had to do everything from the engine to the physics engine and the gameplay.
Software Rasterizer
The last project we did in C. This was a challenge for us, and we were happy with our results. We were in groups of 6 programmers and had to code a software rasterizer that was capable of replicating most of the OpenGL 1.4 features. This project taught us many things about rendering and how it all started.
Gravitation
This project was very early in the 1st year at ISART Digital. We learned a lot from it and it was the first project where we pushed our custom mini engines a little bit. We were satisfied with the results. It is based on the popular PS1 game Gravitation.
Personal Projects
Global Game Jam 2016 at ISART Digital Paris
Almost everyone knows about the Global Game Jam nowadays. If not, it's the biggest international game jam in the world. Every year, thousands of passionate people go through a 48 hour week-end to come up with an original and fun game that matches the theme. This year's theme: Rituals.
Ludum Dare 32
One of the most popular game jam online. There are 4 Ludum Dare every year and people can either submit a solo entry, or enter as a group. Solo people have 48 hour to create a game, and groups have 72H. This is a very interesting experience where we can try things without risk of failure. We had fun.
